Cordless Cot & Bed Bumper / Nesting pod border - merino wool
One detachable merino roll that softens a cot, shapes a nest, and supports your baby — with no cords or ties.
What is it?
The noodle pillow is a long, detachable merino wool roll in a soft cotton casing — 1.9 m of gentle, breathable support. It's the same piece that forms the raised border of the KO-COON Merino Nesting Pod, and it works just as well on its own as a cordless cot bumper.
Why "cordless", and how is it different from a normal cot bumper?
Traditional cot bumpers tie onto the cot rails with cords and sit as loose padding inside the cot — exactly what safe-sleep guidance asks parents to avoid. The noodle pillow works differently. It has no cords and no ties. You can also tucks under the cot's fitted sheet to create a soft, raised, contoured edge, so your baby feels a gentle boundary without any loose padding or cords in the sleep space. Natural merino, not synthetic foam.
How do I use it?
Use it as a cot bumper. Simply lay it along the rail of the cot. Or slide it under the fitted sheet, around the inside edge of the cot, to soften a large cot and give a nest-like feeling during the cot transition. Use it as the border of your nesting pod. It carries on as a support tummy time pillow and as a soft edge as your toddler moves to a bigger bed. One piece, several stages.
Is it safe to use?
It's designed to sit both under the fitted sheet rather or loose inside the cot (its tubular shape makes it safe), and it has no cords — which removes the two things that make traditional padded bumpers a concern. It's breathable natural fibre throughout. As with everything, it doesn't replace safe-sleep basics: place your baby on their back on a firm, flat, clear surface, and supervise your baby. Common sense first.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash on a gentle wool cycle — wool detergent, cold water, lowest spin. Do not tumble dry. Air out regularly.
Size & materials: merino wool inner, soft cotton casing, 1.9 m long, detachable. Fits the KO-COON Nesting Pod and standard cots. Best used with a noodle pillow cover (Milky White, Grey Marl, Fudge, Navy).
Should I add a cover?
Yes — we recommend dressing the noodle pillow with a cover. It protects the merino from spills and daily wear, keeps it fresh between washes, and lets you match or refresh the look of your cot or nest. The covers come in Milky White, Grey Marl, Fudge and Navy, so you can keep one on while the other's in the wash and coordinate with the rest of your setup.
